An Army nurse’s experiences on the island of Corregidor during WWII are shared through a series of letters that she writes to and receives from her mother, her best friend and her former high school teacher. A spiritually uplifting, emotionally touching war story, all the more intense because it is told by women. Funny, moving and poetic.

The hilarious cast of characters works together to save their community. Joveeta Crumpler takes on the fight while trying to keep her feisty mother, Caprice, out of the bars. Her brother, “Baby” Crumpler is convinced to compete in the womanless beauty pageant with hilarious results. There’s kind-hearted Georgia Dean, who runs Bronco Betty’s Buffeteria; Big Ethel Satterwhite; recent arrival Larken Barken; the curmudgeon Haywood Sloggett; Lomax Tanner and Starla Pudney. These enemies, friends and neighbors realize they’ll all have to work together to defeat the encroaching annexation if they want to survive being swallowed up by “the big guys”. The rollicking mayhem of this comedy will keep audiences laughing!

Peril on the High Seas or Let’s Get Together and Do Launch By Billy St. John

June 9 - 18, 2023

Director: Karen Lasater

Rating: PG13

This comedy parodies every English mystery play ever written but with a decidedly American flair. Miss Maple, a dowager with a reputation for “clever” weekend parties, invites a group of detective writers to Ravenswood Manor on Turkey Island, where they are to impersonate their fictional characters. She has arranged several amusing incidents which are all fun and games until there is a real murder. She then offers a reward to the “detective” who can bring the killer to justice. This zany assortment of would-be sleuths trip over clues and each other on the way to unmasking the killer.

Willy Ketchum always on the lookout for a crook humorously can’t see the one right in front of him. Willy’s wife, Wanda, just wants him to relax and enjoy the trip with her. The Curious Savage by John Patrick

Peril on the High Seas or Let’s Get Together and Do Launch By Billy St. John

The Curious Savage by John Patrick

October 6 -  22, 2023

Director: Stephanie Phillips

Rating: PG

After inheriting ten million dollars upon her husband's death,  Mrs. Ethel Savage makes plans to give the entire fortune away to people  who wish to pursue their “foolish dreams". Her stepchildren strongly object, however, and to prevent her from doing away with their family’s wealth and ruining their legacy, they have her committed to a sanatorium called The Cloisters. It is among the gentle residents there that she finds her true family. The Curious Savage is a warm comedy that compares the kindness and loyalty of psychiatric patients with the greed and  hostility of so-called “normal people”.
