Claudette Harris and her best friend and neighbor, Doris Blumquist, have a long-standing rivalry concerning the gifts they receive from their husbands, and Claudette is set on winning this year. Her husband, Walter, says he will handle it… but she has her doubts.
Amidst the festive chaos are their younger neighbors, Mimi and Kevin Quinn, who grapple with job challenges and health issues but have recently taken in Selma Davis, an endearing older woman with humor and wisdom to spare.
This warm comedy is told through laughter and love, and in the end, Walter's Gift is perfect for everyone.
We are extremely grateful that we are able to open our doors for another season of continued success and achievement, and it is only possible because of patrons like you. The cost of producing high-quality live theatre year-round far exceeds the revenue from ticket and concessions sales alone. We rely on both arts grants and private donations like yours. Your contributions are our stepping-stones, and every gift, of any size, is deeply appreciated.
With your support you’ll touch the lives of not only a diverse group of performers, but also the entire community. Theatre can leave a lasting impact on the lives of those who hear stories of struggle, family, love, and a little laughter. We want you to be a part of our lasting impact.
It takes a community to keep the theater running. Whatever your talent, we have a place for you!
