PRODUCTION CREW OPPORTUNITIES

CAST is now accepting applications for those interested  in directing for the 2024 season.

To be eligible to direct you must have one of the following:

1) experience as a director or assistant director at CAST

2) directing experience at another community theater

Those who have not directed in the past but would be interested in qualifying may apply to be an Assistant Director for 2024.  

Note: Directors may not have a directing or acting conflict with another theater once rehearsals have begun.

The Assistant Director aids the stage director in bringing together the many complex pieces of a  production—the script, actors, set, costuming, lighting and sound, and music—into a unified  whole.

The Stage Manager provides practical and organizational support to the director, actors, stage crew, and technicians throughout the production process. They are the director’s representative during performances, making sure that every aspect of the production runs as the director intended.
