BREAKING NEWS - 2025 FIRE

On the morning of August 11, 2025, a fire erupted in the historic Vogelsang Building, causing extensive damage to several businesses, including Cast Theatrical Company.

Thank you to all the firefighters and first responders for their quick action and dedication.

It will take several months  for the damage to be assessed and repaired, and while we are heartbroken over the loss of our beloved theater, we are determined to rise above the ashes! We are currently acting as a nomadic theatre  while in recovery from the displacement of our home of 35 years.  We plan to continue productions and will update you every step of the way.

Cast Theatrical Company has received a wonderful amount of grace and support from our community, and together we will will strive to keep theatre alive and well in Fort Bend County!

CURRENT PRODUCTION

SHE WAS ONLY MARGINALLY MODEST

A Melodrama by Vern Harden

Running through August 31

Directed by John Herrick

****THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Due to the August 2025 fire, Cast's remaining productions for SHE WAS ONLY MARGINALLY MODEST will take place at 1117 1st St., just around the corner from Downtown Rosenberg inside the fellowship hall.****

Filled with puns, punches, and munchable moose muffins, this classic melodrama is wonderfully entertaining.  Ma Belle fights to save the Dead Moose Lodge from repossession

and somehow manages to hold off the selfish advances of the lecherous Judge Jury McBribe.

This delightful melodrama has a myriad of amusing characters (a must), plot twists (a necessity), and exaggerated scenes (defines melodrama).
