2026 SEASON

HONKY TONK HISSY FIT

by Jim Jones, Hope, Wooten

February 6 - 22, 2026

Directed by Darin Mielke

In this third installment of the Doublewide, Texas trilogy, the gang is back for more rollicking comedy. The town has grown to 17 mobile homes and a farmer’s market - but a big development company out of Austin is trying to pull the rug out from under the residents. Mayor Joveeta Crumpler is the only one suspicious enough of city slicker Harper Channing to sound the alarm, but no one is listening. Her mother, Caprice, is too involved in her film “career” and the Stagger Inn Bar. Haywood Sloggett is fighting the romantic feelings he has for Caprice. Big Ethel Satterwhite has her hands full teaching Baby Crumpler (the Police Chief) how to dance for a competition. Georgia Dean Rudd and Nash Sloggett are navigating their newly rekindled romance. Lark Barken has fallen under the spell of the demon caffeine; but Joveeta and the Doublewide gang make for a triumphant finale that will leave audiences laughing!

THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL

by Horton Foote

April 10 - 26, 2026

Directed by Sandra Barkerding

Carrie Watts dreams of returning to Bountiful, her beloved hometown, and nothing will stop her - not her overprotective son, her bossy daughter-in-law, her lost pension check, or even the town sheriff. What she longs for most is to go home one last time. But is home a place, a feeling, or only a memory?

A heartbreaking but ultimately life-affirming and inspiring tale that examines the fragility of memory and celebrates the enduring power of hope and faith.

by Craig Sodero

June 5 - 28, 2026

Directed by Stephanie Phillips

Vampire Count Fritz Fangful and his devoted assistant, Igor, have lived comfortably in the cellar of Rattrap Manor awaiting the perfect beauty whose blood will enable Fangful to live forever. When winsome Greta Belleneck arrives, her Aunt Chatterbit warns her to leave at once! But Greta decides the place would make a perfect hotel for weary travelers. Fangful couldn’t agree more because she is the girl of his dreams. Unfortunately the romantic rendezvous goes awry when Aunt Chatterbit is mistakenly turned into the blushing bride and Greta falls for the handy-man, Able Abe. Fangful finds it very hard to get rid of Abe and tries to trick
him into believing Greta has been kidnapped. True to form, this lighthearted melodrama ends “happily ever after”!
